David was from Texas and entered Arizona Territory in 1879 where he had his team stolen near Ohnesorgen Station so took a job at the station. In 1884 he settled in Dragoon Pass (Texas Canyon), building an adobe 5-room house. In 1896 he married Clara Fourr, daughter of one of the Dragoon Mountain early Anglo settlers. ~~ provided by: JamiA
