I am deeply into family history and have been working on a family tree for the past year. The tree covers many families and Find A Grave has helped fill in some gaps that would not have happened otherwise. |
Now I hope to be able to submit memorials so that others gaps can also be filled in. Family is very important to me and I think we all could use a hand connecting with our families.
If any submissions are relatives, just let me know and I will gladly transfer them to you. Also, please feel free to use any photograph of mine. I am of the opinion that you can never have too many, one computer crash, fire, anything and there goes all that history, why be selfish? Enjoy.
At this time I am currently working with helping the SCV in locating any and all resting Confederate Soldiers in Arizona. If you know of any, regardless of your feelings on the war, please contact me so we can try and help keep these soldiers from being forgotten. If you are not sure what side they fought on, or are Union, you can also let me know and I will pass it on to the SUV. Markers to look for are WBTS, CSA, CSN, or anything that states a unit that would be the right "time frame". Thank you to all that help in this project.

|J M Dedman||John Fain Johnson|
Thanks for the additions to this memorial. You mention that Herbert Sandusky Johnson is in an unmarked or no longer marked grave, but there is a photo of his grave stone on his memorial.
I am unaccustomed to such quick response. Thanks for your work.

Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave.
Regarding the Memorial for John Fain Johnson (Jr), his father was John Fain Johnson and his mother was Simmie Lee (not Dee) Latta. Simmie and John divorced, and she later married James T. Wilhoite. John's family (with their memorials) is as follows:

Sister: Bernice Johnson #43873457
Sister: Irene Saila Johnson Fariss #71769670
Brother: Herbert Sandusky Johnson #91272012
Maternal Grandfather: Sims Latta #11076985
Herbert is buried in Patagonia Cemetery, Santa Cruz Co., AZ. The rest are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Columbia, Maury, TN.

I was given a number of memorials from a fallen Graver and I have been trying to add photos and locations. I was searching for Maria in Southlawn and after reading the information on the memorial page, she was buried in Patagonia. I have moved my memorial and it now duplicates yours. I am not sure what can be done, I don't think the system will allow me to delete mine; sine, I am not the original creator and i don't think you can delete your because of the photos. I am willing to put in a note referencing your memorial.

You too and thank you very much!

Hi, I recently purchased a book that gives me the names of all the people who are buried at the Baker Cemetery, Franklin County, Tn. Usa. The book gives the death date of H. P. Baker as being Jan. 9, 1888 that would make the year of his birth 1838. The tombstone reads that Mr. Baker was 53 years old at the time of his death. 1888-1838= 53
Please update the information and thank you for all your support. Sincerely yours Darlene Partin
Thanks for your message regarding James Cecil. I have been in contact with his daughter and have transferred his memorial to her. I appreciate your help in this matter. I know it can get really confusing with so many generations having the same names.

Would love for you to link John B. Breathitt (Evergreen cemetery, Pima County) with his Missouri and Kentucky extended family by linking to his father. I send edit information. There is quite a bit of on line information about your John B. Breathitt, and the extended Breathitt - Marmaduke - Sappington information is kind of amazing. Thanks.

Thanks for linking Harry with his family. I have very little info on GG uncle Harry, but if I find any more I'll let you know. Thanks, Dana K

Thank you for the information, I was shocked at how badly the headstone seems to have deteriorated also, I was hoping it might just be different lighting, but it doesn't look it. Thanks!
I am related to John and Christina Meckem as well.
So, I prefer not to transfer my own family.
You are welcome to add any other photos you like to the memorials and send me any info to add to them.
Thank you for your understanding,
Have a great day!
