Carolyn S. Case, 45, 1705 W. Monroe St., died at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, following an extended illness.
A homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, she was born March 2, 1936, in Decatur, the daughter of Paul F. and Irene McClure Meyer, and was married on October 5, 1956 to Bud E. Case. The mother and the husband survive.
Also surviving are six daughters - Cindy, Lisa, Laura, Nan, Nicole Suzanne, and Krista Michele; and two sons, Tony and Tim, all of whom are at home. One son, Michael preceded her in death, in 1973.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Brown and Mrs. Arthur (Jenny) Heimann both of Decatur and four brothers, Tom Meyer of Decatur, an James, Jack and Mike Meyer all of Fort Wayne.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Father John Gillig officiating, and burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at Winteregg-Linn and Haggard funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary services are at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Preferred memorials are to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
