Bud E. Case, 81, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital. Bud was born in Adams County on September 29, 1935 to the late Roy and Mary (Stettler) Case. Bud married Carolyn S. Meyer; she preceded him in death on July 29, 1981. On October 11, 1986, he married Beverly K. Thieme; she preceded him in death on September 18, 2013.

Bud attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He and his first wife Carolyn owned and operated Carolyn’s Kitchen. He retired from International Harvester. Bud was a member of the Moose Lodge #1311.


A 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, December 30th at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church will calling prior from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Father Bob J. Lengerich will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are to St. Joseph Catholic School and A.C.C.F. Lindsey Arnold/Bryan Miller Fund.
