Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Keiffer [sic Kieffer], 80 year old resident of Mt. Zion Community, Winn Parish, who died in a Winnfield hospital Wednesday, April 21, 1965, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Mrs. Lula Wardlow and the Rev. Henry Isgitt officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include two sons, Henry Keiffer, president of the Winn Parish Police Jury, and Johnny Keiffer, both of Route 1, Montgomery; three daughters, Mrs. Alma Horn and Mrs. Thelma Rainer, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ivy Brooks of Bossier City; one brother, Alvin Martin of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Nichols of Pineville; 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
