Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. D. S. Durand and Rev. Tillman Brown officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Brenda Keiffer, both of Mt. Zion-Wheeling; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Keiffer of Mt. Zion-Wheeling; three sisters, Mrs. O. L. Rainer of Shreveport, Mrs. Alma Horn of Shreveport, and Mrs. Huey Brooks of Baton Rouge; three brothers, H. A. Keiffer and John Keiffer, both of Montgomery and Joe Keiffer of Shreveport.
