SET JOINT RITES THURSDAY FOR 2 AREA CRASH VICTIMS

A joint funeral for Mrs. Julius Reuter, 73, of 102 N. Baldwin St. , and her daughter, Mrs. Harold Prenot, 50, Chicago, who were killed Monday in an auto accident on Hwy 18-151 about 5 miles west of Verona will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church here.

The Rev. Steen will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Horeb cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Gunderson Funeral Home, Monona Drive.

Mrs. Reuter was born in Cottage Grove and was a Madison resident for 40 years. She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1963. The former Jeannette Offerdahl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies' Guild.

Mrs. Prenot was a Chicago resident for 19 years. She was born in Verona and was a member of the Chicago Trinity Lutheran Church. The former Hazel Reuter was a graduate of East High School here.

Among Mrs. Prenot's survivors are nine grandchildren.
