She was born Feb 19 1901 in Cherryvale to William and Sarah (Harp) Ringle She attended Cherryvale schools graduating from Cherryvale High School in 1920 She taught school for a year During World War II she was employed at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant at Parsons
In 1952 she went to work at Hitchcock Hardware Store in Cherryvale where she was employed until the store closed At the time of her retirement she was serving as assistant librarian at the Cherryvale Public Library
On April 14 1921 she was married to Ira Doop at Independence He died April 7 1952 On March 9 1953 she was married to Wesley Nicholson at Oswego He died July 29 1964
Survivors include: a daughter Edna Mae Love of Perris Calif five sisters Goldie Sesher of Chanute Violet Baker of Cherryvale Letha Keller of Ottawa Theresa Matthews of Waco Texas and Evelyn Gravel of Yuciaca Calif two grandsons and three great-grandchildren
Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
The service will be at 10:30 am Thursday at the Darling and Bums Chapel with the Rev Ken Rogers officiating Burial will be in the Fair-view Cemetery at Cherryvale
Friends may call from 8 am until service time at the funeral home
The family suggests memorials to the United Methodist Church
