Glenn Francis Hendricks is the Son Of John Hendricks (1790-1837) and Elmire Jemima Brewton (1795-1876). Glenn was a CSA veteran, he received a serious leg wound in combat which affected his physical activity the remainder of his life.

Glenn Francis Hendricks was a CSA veteran, serving originally in the 7th Battalion Georgia Infantry. This company was mustered into service September 9, 1861, and served on the Georgia coast and in and around Charleston, South Carolina: He was later assigned to 61st Regiment, Georgia Infantry in 1862.
Hendrix (Hendricks), Glynn F. -- Private - September 9, 1861. Glynn was severely wounded through his left thigh at 2nd Battle of Manassas, Virginia, August 28, 1862. This wound was so severe that he was permanently disabled for the remainder of his life. He was Discharged because of this wound and disability on April 1, 1864. (Born in Georgia, April 27, 1837. Died at Reidsville, Georgia, November 23, 1920.)
