Robert C. Smith
Robert C. Smith, 56, Falkville 2, died at a local hospital at 6:50 p.m. yesterday where he had been a patient for some time.
Funeral services are to be Wednesday afternoon at 1 at Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Darryl Harris and Rev. Milford Walker officiating. Burial is to be in Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur, with Peck funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Smith; one son, J. C., Falkville 2; five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Easter Smith, Decatur; three brothers, Fred C. Cullman; Roy and Jasper, both of Town Creek; five sisters, Mrs. M. H. Odell, Huntsville; Mrs. Fairly Norton, Courtland; Mrs. Kyle Taylor, Mrs. Ellis Patterson and Miss Ruby Smith, all of Decatur.
Mr. Smith was a deacon of Lebanon Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Richard Legg, Melvin Hardin, Hoyt Anders, Buddy Knox, Whitman Mooney and Lowell Homes.
Honorary pallbearers will be deaons of Lebanon Baptist Church.
The body is to be returned to the residence this afternoon at 2.
