Cooper Review-Jan. 14, 1971-Funeral service was held for Luther C. McCullough, 77, Wednesday, at 2:30PM in the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with J.D. Wheeler officiating. Internment was made in the New Klondike Cemetery. Mr.McCullough passed away at 5:30AM Tuesday morning in Grand Prairie. He had lived in Delta County for many years before moving to Grand Prairie seven months ago. Son of James Isaac and Fannie (LaVan) McCullough, he was born December 10, 1893 in Texas. Survivors besides his wife, Mrs. Ida McCullough of Cooper, include one son, Luther C. McCullough, Jr. of Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Ross Chestnut of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Morehead of Dallas and Mrs. Ila Crestman of Cooper; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
