Thomas was the only son and forth child of Josiah Lincoln and Cahterine Barlow. Thomas was named for his Uncle Thomas Lincoln father of President Abrahm Lincoln. Thomas is listed in the 1830 Blue River, Harrison County Indiana Cenus along with one female 20-30 years, one male under 5 years and one female under 5 years.

Josiah died in 1835 in Harrison County, Indiana.
Thomas Lincoln purchased his brothers and sisters rights in the home farm and resided there, where he died in 1849.
Thomas Lincoln and Sarah (nee Weathers) lived in Blue River Township, Harrison County and belonged to the Blue River Church. Thomas died in 1849 and is buried in the church cemetery. Sallie then married Joseph Sipes in 1860 in Harrison County and moved to Washington County, Indiana. She joined the Old Unity Primitive Baptist Church in Washington County in Nov. 1855. She had no children by Sipes. In 1880 she is a widow and living with her son, Benjamin. Sallie died in 1882 of pneumonia at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 12 days, a widow.
