He was a member of the Triplett Baptist Church. His wife, Amma Belle Kendall, died in 1961.
Born in Wetzel County, Nov. 4, 1872, he was a son of the late Jeremiah and Jane Hayes Kendall. He lived in Spencer for 62 years.
Surviving are two sons, Shirley and Omar Kendall, Spencer; a daughter, Mrs. Etta Sommerville, Organe, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Walker, Barberton, Ohio; and a brother John Kendall, Grafton, Ohio.
There are 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sinnett Funeral Home in Spencer.
The Rev. Dorsey Marks will be officiate and burial will be in Morford Cemetery, Spencer.
Fridays may call at the funeral home.
