Ashland, Sept. 20 - Mrs. Augusta Reiser, of this city, died at 2:30 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Courier, near Alexander. Mrs. Reiser, 80 years old, was born in Germany and came to this country when about 8 years old.

April 6, 1875, she married Bernhardt Reiser at Jacksonville, and had been a resident of this section for many years.

Surviving Mrs. Reiser are three daughters, Mrs. Courier and Mrs. James Fulton of Alexander and Mrs. Guy Plunkett of Virginia, and eleven sons, Louis and Albert of Alexander, Anthony, Benjamin, and Martin of Ashland, George of Springfield, Fred and Emil of New Berlin, Will and Joseph of Jacksonville, and John of Pleasant Plains, thirty-four grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Reiser was a member of the parish and Altar and Rosary society of St. Augustine church in Ashland, where funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Father Quinn officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine cemetery.
