Ashland, July 24.- (special) -- Frederick Schumacher, aged 83 years, died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fredericka Reiser, five miles southeast of Ashland, in Sangamon county.
Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon in the German Lutheran church in Pleasant Plains and the interment was made in the Pleasant Plains cemetery.
