El Dorado, January 20. -- Marvin Haddox, an employe of the Newton Oil Company, was shot and killed at his home in McKenzie, near Smackover, late last night by an unidentified assassin who fired the fatal shot through a window while Haddox was preparing to go to bed.
Two brothers of Haddox told the coroner that so far as they knew the dead man had no enemy and the county officers have found no definite clue as to the assassin.
