Funeral services were held May 13, at 10 a.m., at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church, with the pastor, Rev. H. B. Crammer officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Troy Wheeler of the Alexandria Calvary Baptist Church.
Born and reared in Winn Parish, Mr. Haddox had lived in Alexandria for the past 15 years. He was a barber and member of the Baptist church.
He leaves one son, Harold Haddox of Conway, S.C., one daughter, Mrs. Merry Plunkett of Los Angeles, Calif., his father, Elzey Haddox of Winnfield; a brother, Bluch Haddox of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Perot of Winnfield and Mrs. E. L. Jennings of Atlanta, La., and four grandchildren.
