Funeral for Ruby Elizabeth Shaia of Decatur will be Wednesday at 10 1.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church of Decaur with the Rev. Liam Sullivan officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Brown Service Funeral Home directing. There will be a rosary service at Brown Service chapel at 7 p.m. today. The family will receive visitors tonight from 7:30 to 9.
Mrs. Shaia died Monday at Decatur General Hospital. She was the widow of Louis J. Shaia.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Shaia of Jacksonville, Fla, and Louis L. Shaia of Nashville, Tenn; one sister, Mary Franklin of Pine Blufff, Ark; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Shaia, Virgil Depreast, Joe Halas, Charlie Adams, Ken Greenwood and Jerry Vandiver.
