"Mable (sic) Burke Dies
Mable Burke, 82, passed away Tuesday morning in the Herington Hospital.
Born June 16, 1877, in Henry county, Mo., she came to Kansas with her parents as a small girl. She was reared in Geary County and taught school for many years in both Geary and Morris counties. She held a life certificate to teach.
Surviving her are one brother, J. R. Burke of Topeka, seven nephews and seven nieces. She was an aunt of W. E. Burke of this city.
Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Donahue Funeral Parlor in Herington. Burial will be in the Dwight cemetery.
