Neosho Rapids: Jan 27.- Edwin Earnest Burke, of Neosho Rapids, died Tuesday night at his home after 2-weeks' illness.
Edwin Ernest Burke was born May 26, 1867, in White county, Illinois. He moved to Neosho Rapids nine years ago from Oklahoma. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Burke was married to Harriet Woodworth, who survives. Their children are Robet Burke and Charles Burke, of La Salle, Colo.; Isaac Burke and Mrs. Virgil Habelcott, both of Al' Paugh, Calif.; Mrs. Jesse Heinson, of Quearnado, N.M. and Ben Burke, of Neosho Rapids. He also is survived by a brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at the Methodist Protestant church at Neosho Rapids, and Rev. G J. Wilkie will be in charge of the services. The time has not been set.
