WILMER M. DARST

Wilmer M. Darst, 94, formerly of 920 E. Dayton St., died at 1:10 a.m. today at LaMoine Nursing Home in Roseville.

He was born Dec. 3, 1879, in Eureka and farmed in the Galesburg vicinity until he retired in 1936. He was graduated from Galesburg High School in 1901 and was a 75-year member of First Christian Church and it's Bible Class.

He first married Alma B. Thompson and later married Molly E. White, who died in 1949. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Peaslee, Pekin, and Mrs. Elmer (Lauretta) Cranick, Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Martha M. Wilkin, Arlington, Tex.; a grandson and four great-grandchildren. A son, Dr. Lloyd Darst of Princeton, preceded him in death.

Funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, where friends may call Sunday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.

Funeral for Wilmer M. Darst, 94, formerly of 920 E. Dayton St. who died early Friday morning at Lamoine Christian Nursing Home, Roseville, was today at 10 a.m. at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, with Rev. Ralph Bennett, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial was at Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Pallbearers were Everett Olin, Ellis Hodson, Saylor Conard, Ralph Plympton, Raymond Loso and William H. Watkin.
