DR. LLOYD M. DARST
PRINCETON - Dr. Lloyd M. Darst, 67, Princeton, died at Perry Memorial Hospital here Friday morning.
He was born at Adel, Iowa, Oct. 18, 1904, and married the former LaVanche Chambard at Humboldt, Iowa, Oct. 20, 1928.
Dr. Darst was graduated from Iowa State University in 1928 with a degree in veterinary medicine, and practiced in Peoria before moving to Princeton where he practiced for the past 40 years. A graduate of Galesburg High School, Dr. Darst was a past president of the Illinois Valley Veterinary Association and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widow; his father, Wilmer Darst of Roseville; his mother, Mrs. Elma Darst of Lamar, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer W. (Lauretta) Cranick, Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. Frank H. (Dorothy) Peaslee, Pekin.
Funeral services will be at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jon Olinger officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be at the memorial home Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the family said.
