Died Last Sunday

Mrs. Annie Mae Jarriel, 71, died Sunday in a Jesup Hospital after a short illness.
She was a native of Tattnall County and a member of the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her three daughters, Mrs. Jean Brannen and Mrs. Joyce Hagans both of Jesup, and Mrs. Louise Cummings of Cascade, Montana; three sons, George Jarriel and C. L. Jarriel, both of Collins and J. C. Jarriel of Cascade, Montana; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3 P.M. at Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Robert D. Booker officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Billy Jarriel, Jimmy Jarriel, J.D. Rewis, Bill Lunsford, Rudolph Jones and Gerald Strozier.
McCall-Trapnell Funeral Home of Reidsville was in charge.

Mrs. Jarriel Laid To Rest In Georgia
Mrs. Annie Mae Jarriel of Collins, Georgia, passed away Saturday night and services will be held this week. Mrs. Jarriel had visited in Cascade many times and made friends who will be sorry to hear of her passing.
Mrs. Jarriel's survivors who are offered sincere sympathy include daughters Mrs. Jim (louise) Cummings of Cascade, Mrs. Leonard (Jean) Brannen of Jesup, Georgia, and Jean's twin sister, Mrs. Solomon (Joyce) Hagans also of Jesup; sons, J.C. Jarriel of Cascade, C.L. Collins, who just recently moved to Cascade, and George Jarriel of Collins, Georgia. Both Jean and George formerly made their homes here in Cascade.
J.C. Jarriel, Louise and Johnnie Cummings and Andy Jarriel all flew down on Sunday to attend the services this week.
