BUCKEYE--Last rites for Edgar Albert Benton, 66, Gila Bend, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Buckeye Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Benton died Sunday after a heart attack in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frances Trammell, in Gila Bend.
Born in Caddo, Okla., he went to Phoenix in 1931, and moved to Lubbock, Tex., 10 years later. He lived in Texas until March, when he came here.
He was a furniture finisher.
Surviving are his wife, Susie; one son, Edgar Jr., of Whittier, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Trammell, Mrs. E. W. Coulter of Chappworth (sic: Chatsworth), Calif., and Betty Leona Benton of Gila Bend; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two brothers out of state.
The Rev. Leroy Crosley will officiate at services tomorrow. Buckeye Lodge IOOF will conduct graveside services in Louis B. Hazelton Cemetery.
