Mrs. Matilda C. Ensley, 83 passed at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lorena Miller, 533 Stanton Ave. following a six-month illness.
She was born in Marietta, O., but had lived in Springfield practically all her life.
She was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church.
The body was taken Wednesday morning to the daughter's home, where it was until Thursday noon, when it was returned to the Jackson Funeral Home.
Her obituary was published in the Springfield News-Sun on March 3, 1936 and found at the Clark County Public Library in Springfield, Clark, Ohio, USA.
