C. E. Winger, 40, died at the home of his
mother, Mrs. Josephine Winger, 540 Oak
Grove St., Tuesday afternoon at 1:45
o'clock, following a few days illness with
pneumonia.
Mr. Winger was born in Oil City and had
been employed for the past 14 years by the
National Transit Pipe Line company as a
machinist.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtle
Bixler Winger; seven children, Robert,
Dora, William, Howard, Alice, Myrtle and
an infant son, three days old. His mother
also survives as do three sisters: Mrs. Henry
Neubauer, Mrs. Glenn Alcorn, and Mrs.
Harry McBride, and five brothers: Henry,
Frank, George, Clyde and James, all of Oil
City.
A high mass of requiem for the happy
repose of his soul will be celebrated Friday
morning in the Help of Christians church.
Interment will be in the new St. Joseph's
cemetery.
