Alvin G. Trexler, a resident of Hancock for many years, passed away at the residence of his grandson, Harry Trexler, at Topton, aged 83 years. He was a son of the late John and Maria (Geist) Trexler and was a member of the Lutheran wing of St. Paul's church, Mertztown. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Trexler, Topton; a grandson, Harry of Topton; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Martin Adams of Allentown. Ten great-grandchildren also survive. His wife, Carolina, nee Frederick, preceded him in death several years ago. Rev. W. S. Dry will officiate at funeral services to be held at the funeral home of J. J. Schofer and Son, 107 Main St., Topton, on Monday at 1.30 p.m. Interment in St. Paul's cemetery, Mertztown.
