DRAGERTON, Carbon County— Funeral services for Darrell C. Boren, 48, of Dragerton, who died Tuesday at his home of cancer, will be Thursday at 10a.m. in the Fausett Mortuary in Price.

He was the father of Darrell C.Boren Jr., Heber City. Mr. Boren was born May 17,1925 in Vernal, a son of Ezra and Bertha Kendall Boren. He married Freda K, Smuin on July 1, 1944, in Vernal. He was a veteran of WorldWar II. Mr. Boren was amember of the JehovahWitnesses Congregation. A coalminer, he belonged to United Mine Workers of America, Sunnyside Local No. 9958.

Survivors include his widow,Dragerton; two sons and eight daughters, Darrell Boren Jr.,Heber City; William Boren,Green River, Wyo.; Mrs. Dan(Kathy) Allen, Duchesne; Mrs.Danny (Bertha) Summers, Mrs.LaMar (Linda) Preston, Mrs.Leo (Geraldine) Thorp, Mrs.Cecil (Jackie) Henningson, Mrs.Doug (Patricia) Hunter,Lorraine Boren and Valary Boren, all of Dragerton; 11 grandchildren; his father, RockSprings, Wyo.; one brother and six sisters, Lorenzo Boren and Mrs. Lela Pope, both of GreenRiver, Wyo.; Mrs. Verda Thompson, Craig Colo.; Mrs.Edna Brown, Ogden; Mrs.Lulla Twitchell, Price; Mrs.Wanda Slough, Manilla, Daggett County, and Mrs. Buleah Blackburn, Los Angeles.

Friends may call at the Fausett Mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock and Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery.
