DeLASHMUTT - Theodore C., 73 years, of Decatur, Neb. died Thursday, April 3 of a heart condition. He was born July 28, 1895, Whiting, Ia. The son of Nels and Margaret Talaiferro DeLashmutt. He attended schools in that area.

In 1916 he married Hazel Hughes and made their home in Whiting where he also operated and owned a recreation parlor.

Survived by Mrs. Hazel DeLashmutt; 2 sons, Delbert and Ted of Omaha; 6 daughters, Mrs. Jack (Lois) Downing, Concord, Calif., Mrs. Robert (Ada) Hester also of Concord, Calif., Mrs. James (Gail) Coughlin, Mrs. Doris Johnson, Mrs. Al (Thelma) Evans, Mrs. Phillip (Sharon) Reeves, all of Omaha; 4 brothers, Ernest and Dudley of Whiting, Ia., Marsh of Onawa, Ia.; two sisters Mrs. Jesse (Fanny) Seward, Mrs. Ed (Gertrude) Dahl, both of Whiting, Ia.; 28 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be 1:30 Monday, April 7 at Wood Funeral Home in Whiting with Rev. William Heins officiating with burial in Harrison Cemetery at Whiting.
