Clyde spent over three years in the Army Air Force during World War Two.
He was married to his wife of 61 years, Betty Louise Taylor Adams. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Richard and wife Janine, Chuck and his wife, Linda, Dwight and his wife, Rene and his daughter, Kathy and her husband, Doug, he is also survived by two sisters, twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren,
Dick was the youngest of six children, three of which preceded him in death, brothers, Kermit and G.C. and a sister, Jurhee.
