William Lucian Trucks, 79, retired farmer who had lived in Lake City for the past 47 years, died at Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City, Thursday, November 19, 1964, following a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Huffman Memorial Chapel in Lake City with interment in Lake Creek Cemetery northwest of town. The Rev. Carl Jensen, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate.
Mr. Trucks was born October 6, 1885, at Glidden, Iowa, a son of William and Sarah (Lovell) Trucks. One brother and six sisters preceded him in death. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Melissa Jane Willis of Lake City, plus several nieces and nephews.
