Father to Raymond G. (Durant) Durrant
George A. Durrant, 70, resident of Farmington, died at his home May 31. Deceased was born in the town of Lanark Feb 10, 1869, one of a family of 10 children born to Mr. & Mrs. James Durrant. Three sisters, Anna, Margaret and Mayme preceded him in death. April 26, 1905 he was married to Mollie E. Davis of Lind Center and to this union six children were born.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. N. Doody June 2 at the Holly funeral home. Hymns were sung my Mrs. G. N. Doody and Mrs. Walter Olson. Interment was in Sheridan Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arthur Larson, Carl Peterson, Will Bucknell, P.C. Jensen, Stanley Salter and Oscar Gunsten.
