By 1900, Eva lived with her aunt, Mattie (nee Minesinger) McIntyre, and her husband, Daniel, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Eva married John Arnold in November of 1904. He was a farmer, and they were the parents of 6 children.
At the time of her death at V.I.P. Manor Nursing Home, Eva was 91 years, 6 months and 18 days old. She was survived by 3 daughters, Eileen Friedel and Genevieve Moses, both of Golden Eagle, and Florence Friedel of Hardin, Illinois; 3 sons, Stanley and Wilmer, both of Golden Eagle, and Norman of East Alton, Illinois; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, John.
Visitation was held after 7 p.m. on 21 Feb 1973 at Hanks Funeral Home in Brussels. A funeral Mass was conducted at 10 a.m. on the morning of 23 Feb 1973 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brussels. Eva was buried next to her husband, John, who passed away in 1958.
