Services for George A. Brady were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Montgomery Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Jerry Miller, Nathanel Young, Paul Graves, and Glen Martin officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery, near Verda, under direction of Southern of Winnfield.

Brady, 73, of Montgomery, died Friday night, November 11, 1988, at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

He was a Grant Parish native, member of the Montgomery Pentecostal Church and was retired from the state highway department.

Survivors include his wife, Lena Brady of Montgomery; four daughters, Jessie Smith of Coushatta, Bobbie Gibbs of Ball, Linda Tims of Montgomery, and Elaine Horn of Livingston, Montana; three sisters, Bessie Lawson of Montgomery, Willie Tilton of Wheeling, and Ehtel [sic Ethel] Lawson of Winnfield; two stepsons, Joe Roshto of Urania and Alvin Roshto of Mansfield; one stepdaughter, Dorothy Morton of Hemphill, Texas; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
