Mr. Hyram Magee was born April 27, 1847, some sixty-seven years ago. He was raised about one mile south of Prentiss, and during almost his entire life was a member of the Baptist church. He was a faithful father to his family.
Mr. Magee leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss, and a host of friends throughout this section. He was a true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was taken sick October 28, 1913, and was not able to overcome his affliction, died January 15, 1914. Sweet peace to his soul.
