Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie G. Gallaher, 76, who died March 12, 1974 in Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital were held Friday in the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. R.L. Robinson officiating. Burial was in Maple Cemetery.
She was born March 1, 1898 in Lynnville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Jasper and Ella Bray. After attending schools in Tennessee, she moved with her parents to Pemiscot County.
On June 10, 1915, she was married to Will Louis Gallaher in Braggadocio. He preceded her in death November 9, 1962.
Survivors include two sons, Mildred W. Gallaher of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Buford E. Gallaher of Huntsville, Ala.; three daughters, Mrs Louise Ottinger of Caruthersville, Mrs. Viola Dawson of Hayti and Mrs. Ruby Blackwell of Piedmont; two brothers, Newton Bray of St. Charles and Robert Alexander of Hobart, Ind.; five grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Pallbearers were Winiferd Pate, Raymond Dawson, W.O. Wilson, Joe L. Gallaher, George Horton and Ralph Sherwood.
