Will Louis Gallaher, 70, Bragg City farmer and resident of Pemiscot county for many years, died at his home on Rte. 2, Bragg City, last Friday, November 9.
Born at Waynesboro, Tenn., Mr. Gallaher moved to Pemiscot county 50 years ago. He was married to Miss Lillie Gertrude Bray at Braggadocio on June 10, 1915.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. A.W. Clodfelter of Hayti and Rev. Richard Adams officiating. Burial was in Maple cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Gallaher; two sons, Milburn W. Gallaher, St. Petersonburg, Fla. and Buford E. Gallaher of Huntsville, Ala.; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Ottinger of this city, Mrs. Viola Dawson of Hayti and Mrs. Ruby Blackwell of Piedmont, Mo.; two brothers survive, Herman Gallaher of Steele and J.C. Gallaher of Braggadocio; his step-mother, Mrs. Marwillie Gallaher of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; a half-brother and six half-sisters, Lemuel Gallaher, Mdmes Dessie Shaw, Bertie Hyde, Ora Sutton, Karen Deeter, Bethel Winters and Clara Deeter; and three grandchildren.
