MRS. MARY E. TUCKER
---Mary Evelyn was born in Athens County, Ohio, December 18, 1851, passed away May 2, 1919, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Wood, in La Plata, Mo., being 67 years, 4 months and 15 days of age at the time of her death.
---On April 13, 1871, she was married to L. H. Tucker, who passed away about six years ago. They moved to Macon county March 28, 1879.
---To this union was born eight children, four boys and four girls, all of whom were present at the funeral of the mother, besides eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Ida Baldwin, of LaCrosse.
---The children left to mourn are W. Z., H. R., Earl F. Tucker and Mrs. Ida Wood of La Plata, Mrs. Joanna Vose, LaCrosse, Mo.; Mrs. Maud Smith, Bevier, Mo.; J. M. Tucker and Mrs. Bertha Keithley of Elmer, Mo.
---The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church by Rev. R. L. White last Sunday afternoon. Interment was made in the La Plata cemetery.
