He was born May 16, 1941, in Johnson County, son of the late Wayne and Dorothy Thompson Blevins.
He was a coal miner.
He is survived by three sons; one daughter, Prestonsburg; two sisters; and four grandchildren.
Public visitation will be from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. today; 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. Sunday until time for the funeral.
Services will be conducted by Toby Wheeler with burial at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville.
Arrangements under the direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
