Mrs. Emma T. Bauer, 85, of 107 N. 11th St., Allentown, died yesterday at the Reinmiller Convalescent Home, Emmaus, where she had been hospitalized since March 30, after an illness of five months' duration. She was born in Bowers, Berks County, a daughter of the late Charles and Leanda S. (Grim) Trexler, and was the widow of Morris D. Bauer. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She is survived by a son, Dr. John T. Bauer, Moorestown, N.J.; two grandchildren, John T., Jr. of Los Angeles and Elizabeth of Moorestown, N.J.; and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Merkle and Mrs. Sarah Schwoyer, Lyons Station, Berks County, and Mrs. Mary Romig, Downingtown. Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was a son, Charles T. Bauer. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
