READING --- Mrs. Sara G. Swoyer of Lyons Station, Berks County, died Wednesday in the Bricker Nursing Home in Lauderdale near here.  She was 89.  She was the widow of Walter Swoyer.  Born in Bowers, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Trexler.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown.  Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Annie G. Merkel of Lyons Station, and Mrs. Calvin Romig of Downingtown, Chester County.  Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Kutztown.  There will be no viewing.

The funeral of Mrs: Sara G. Swoyer, 89, Lyons, who died May 10 in the Bricker Nursing Home, Reading, was held Saturday in the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Kutztown. The Rev. John S. Fisher officiated. Entombment was made in Hope Cemetery Mausoleum, Kutztown. 

A native of Bowers, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Leanda (Grim) Trexler and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Her husband; Walter Swoyer, died in 1960. Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Annie Merkel, Lyons, and Mrs. Calvin Romig, Downingtown, a niece and two nephews.
