Mrs Lula L. Niehaus, 88 Onaga, died Saturday, February 3, 1990, at Golden Acres Nursine Home inOnaga.

Mrs.. Niehaus farmed with her husband near Whiting before they moved to Onaga in 1970. She also had taught in grade schools in Nemaha and Kiowa counties.

she was born July 20, 1901, in the Springdale community south of Havensville, the daughter of Ira W. andCaroline Albin Fairbanks. She grew up in Havensville and was graduated from Havensville High School.

She married Ferdinand Niehaus June 20, 1923, in Topeka. He diedJuly 5, 1972.

Survivors include four sisters. Anna Bonjour, Onega, Violet Biggs, Holton, Evelyn Solcum, Soldier, and Viola Tuttlem Wichita; two brothers, Raymond Fairbanks, Valley Falls, and Donald Fairbanks, Antioch, Calif.

Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feburary 6, at Tessendorf Mortuary in Onaga. Burial was in Onaga Cemetery.
