Mrs. Clara B. Teske

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the Duluth community in Pottawatomie County for Mrs. Clara B. Teske, 81,Onaga, who died of heart failure Monday at a Topeka hospital.

She was born Nov. 17, 1899, near Havensville, the daughter of Ira and Carokuba Fairbanks. She spent most of her life in the Onaga community.

Mrs. Tesle was a Star Route mail carrier from 1936 until she retired in1968. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Duluth.

She was married to Walter B. Teske, March 3, 1920. He died June 23, 1963.

Survivors include three daughters. Mrs. Wilma Roberts and Mrs. Freda Grutzmacher, bothe of Onaga, and Mrs.June Sharp, Dallas; two brothers, Raymond Fairbanks, Valley Falls, andDonald Fairbanks, Concord, Calif.; sixsisters, Mrs. Lula Niehaus, Mrs. AnnaBonjour and Mrs. Elsie Kelly, all in Onaga, Mrs. Violet Biggs, Holton, Mrs.Evelyn Slocum, Soldier, and Mrs. Vi Tuttle, Wichita; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Onaga Cemetery, Tessendorf Mortuary, Onaga, is in charge of arrangements.
