A. D. Finnell died at his home nine miles southwest of Emporia, Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock, of a complication of diseases. He was 84 years old and had lived in Lyon county twenty-five years. The funeral was held this morning at 10 o'clock from his home, and was buried in Cottonwood cemetery. Nine of his children are living.
