MRS. AGNES BERRY
Agnes Marie Berry died at her home in Broken Bow on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at the age of 54 years, five months and nine days after an extended illness.
She was born in Domacus, Ore., Feb. 24, 1900, the daughter of Ferdinand and Emma Zessin and moved to Nebraska at the age of six weeks, residing in Nebraska City.
She was united in marriage to Carl Berry on March 20, 1920. They made their home in Callaway until 1944 when they moved to Broken Bow.
Three Children were born to this union.
She was baptized in early childhood and later joined the Methodist church at Broken Bow.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Cole of Norfolk, Va., and two sons, Duane of Norfolk, Va., and Jack of Broken Bow, one sister, Mrs. Lilia Fitzpatrick of Lincoln and two brothers, Lreoy Zessin of Weeping Water and Guy Zessin of Sacramento, Calif. and four grandchildren, Jolene, Gary, Barbara and David Cole of Norfolk, Va.
The Rebekah Lodge held services at the church and the VFW held services at the cemetery.
