Wanda Cole "78, of North Palm Beach, Florida passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 6, 1999 in Reno, Nevada. Mrs. Cole was born September 5, 1921 in Weeping Water, Nebraska daughter of the late Carl Berry and Agnes Marie Zessin Berry. She had been a resident of the Palm Beaches since 1960 coming from Norfolk, Virginia. She joined the Palm Beach gardens Medical Center Auxiliary in April 1985 and served as Vice President 1989-1990, served two terms as president 1994-1996, served with the Auxiliary Board Advisors 1992-1996, Scheduling Chairman for the Emergency Room at the Hospital for four years, was Editor of the Auxiliary Newspaper, and served as President of the Phi Sigma Alpha Soroority. Wanda was very involved with the Florida Diabetes Children's Camp in Gainesville, Florida. This organization was very dear to her. She was an active memeber of the Riviera Beach (now Oceanview) United Methodist Church of Juno Beach. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband Dale Cole on January 25, 1984..

Mrs. Cole leaves to cherish her lving memory her devoted children Jolene Hurd and husband Michael of West Palm Beach, FL, Gary Dale Cole of Moodus, CT., Barbara Jan Thiessen and husband Sanford of Gaiesville, FL; David Carl Cole and wife Robin of Elk Grove, CA., her brothers, Duane Berry of Omaha, NE. and Jack Berry of Sacramento, CA., her adored nine grandchildren, Rodney, Michele, Jason, Cara, Ian, Shane, Brett, Courtney and Jarad; her three great-grandchildren, Julie, Shelby and Justin, her Aunts; Hazel Adams and Olive Berry..

The family will receive friends 1-3 pm and 6-8pm Friday, Octobver 15, 1999 at Thomas L. Price Funeral Home, 553 Northlake Blvd., North Palm Beach where services will be held 11:30 am Saturday, October 16, 199 with Rev. Stepehen H. Ruegg officiating.".
