Alma Williams, 48-year-old former Picher resident, died Friday evening in Clackamas, Ore. He was born in Webb City, Mo., and moved to Picher in 1919 where he worked as a miner until six years ago when he moved to Oregon. He was a World War II Veteran. Survivors Include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Williams, of the home; a son, Tommy J. Williams, serving with the Army in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Iris Richardson and Mrs. Sandra Vanderberghe, both of Clackamas; his mother, Mrs. Flora Williams, of Picher; four brothers, Charley, Joe, Maurice and Jerry Williams, all of Picher; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Breeden, Picher; Mrs. Dorothy Hill, Miami; Mrs. Florence Malone, Joplin and Mrs. Bernice Ricketts, Altoona, Penn.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will be held in Clackamas.
