Henry Wilson Cain, Jr., 79, passed away May 14, 1996 in Hayti, Mo.
Born December 11, 1916 in Caruthersville, Mo., he is the son of the late Henry Wilson Cain and Myrtle Grisham Cain.
He attended school in Caruthersville. Graduating in the class of 1934. He also attended business college in Quincey, Ill.
On January 17, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri he was united in marriage to Vera Olene Booker.
Mr. Cain was a farmer and also a member of the First Christian Church in Caruthersville.
Survivors include: His wife Olene Cain of Hayti, Mo., two daughters; Joyce Cain Callihan of Amory, Mississippi, and Marilyn Cain Hearn of Germantown, Tennessee, one son; Quentin Cain of Hayti, Mo., three grandchildren; John Callihan, Brook Callihan, and Kelly Callihan all of Amory, Mississippi, a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many, many friends.
Funeral services were held May 17, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Churstian Church with Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.
Interment was in the Maple Cemetery.
