He was born July 6, 1933 in Salt Lake City to Sidney and Beulah Lloyd Allgood. Married Dorothy Smith, Feb. 20, 1953. Served in the U.S. Army from May 1953 to May 1955. Devoted most of his life as a meat manager for Smith's Food & Drug, took early retirement after 31 years of service due to health problems. Member of the LDS Church. He belonged to Murray & Granger F.O.E. Club & Veterans of Foreign Wars.

This is my sister Dorothy's husband. I have known Larry since I was 10 years old. I remember when I was in the hospital when I was 10 him and Dorothy bringing me a two sided record. One side was The little White Duck, and Popeye the Sailor Man on the other side. I remember teasing him and Dorothy when they were dating. Hiding behind the couch and listening to them. He was a good provider for his family. He loved to Bowl also. Rest in Peace dear brother-in-law and thank you for your service to our country.
