He was born December 31, 1919 at Fairview, Oklahoma and died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital at Enid, Oklahoma.
Roy was an 85-year resident of the Billings community and often shared his knowledge of the community with others. Prior to his death, he was known as the person who had lived in Billings the longest.
He worked as a feed mill operator at Johnston Grain Company in Billings prior to his retirement.
Roy enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, who he considered to be his children and with whom he shared much family history. He also enjoyed fishing, lawn mowing, visiting friends and the companionship of his dogs.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Billings. Rev. Floyd Westfall will officiate.
Interment will be in the Union Cemetery at Billings. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Billings, Oklahoma.
Roy is survived by one brother, George Warner and his wife, Sheila, and one sister-in-law, Roberta Warner, all of Billings, Oklahoma; 34 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, three sisters, three nieces and one nephew.
